Client Challenge
Denso, an existing customer of Besco’s, needed a replacement water softener for their facility. The systems that were in place were 30 years old and had completed their life cycle. Since many operational transitions had occurred over the last 30 years, Besco’s design team assisted the customer in determining what they wanted to see within a new system, as well as flow rates and probable daily usage.
Besco Solution
After working with the customer we determined that we could utilize a single system as opposed to the two systems that were currently in place while still keeping redundancy. We designed a system to fit their needs. As with any CapEx, there would need to be multiple bids. After reviewing all of the bids, the customer chose Besco as their preferred supplier for this project. The other bids did not meet the specifications that they required. Besco worked with the customer and mechanical contractor to lay out the design and parameters for the placement of the system and subsequently performed the start-up and commissioning of the system.
