Water Softener Preventative Maintenance

• Test water for Hardness, Iron, Chlorine
• Check all parameters on system to water chemistry and system size
• Inspect all internal seals, spacers, and drive pistons for condition and wear. Clean or replace components as needed
• Inspect brining system for proper brine dose and refill rate according to system size and brine pick-up/float installed on system
• Clean and inspect brine screen and venturi/injector
• Inspect brine tank for proper water level and bridging
• Inspect and clean flow meter
• Inspect system discharge and flow control
• Check all cycles and cycle times
• Full documentation of equipment performance

Reverse Osmosis Preventative Maintenance

• Check incoming water Hardness, Iron, Chlorine, and TDS
• Check incoming water pressure with system running
• Check permeate quality and production
• Check and grease pump and motor
• Check all pressure gauges
• Check membrane feed pressure and concentrate pressure
• Check and clean flow meters if present
• Check permeate quality on all vessels if present
• Change pre-filter and sterilize sump with isopropyl
• Inspect system for leaks and repair as possible
• Adjust throttle valves where required
• Full documentation of equipment performance
