Client Challenge
Kalmbach Feeds operates a molasses production facility in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. A chemical treatment company referred the facility to Besco for help with an aging water treatment system.
The system was well beyond its expected service life, and replacement parts were no longer readily available. Other water treatment providers continued trying to repair the equipment instead of recommending replacement. Because the old system could no longer function properly, buildup accumulated inside Kalmbach Feeds’ main boiler, which required thousands of dollars of repairs.
Besco Solution
Besco evaluated the existing equipment and determined that further repairs were not practical. Then, we engineered and installed a new water treatment system that protects the facility’s main boiler by providing it with treated water 24/7.
Kalmbach Feeds was impressed with Besco’s honest recommendation, installation, and service. The company now plans to purchase additional equipment from Besco, including a commercial reverse osmosis system.
